Red Wine Moulin Rouge
A decadent and delicious little treat the Red Wine Moulin Rouge truffle features a Nova Scotia Domaine de Grand Pré Estates Moulin Rouge red wine and Cranberry purée that is blended together with Cacao Barry Lactée Supérieure milk chocolate and Cacao Barry Mi-Amère dark chocolate to create a flavorful moulin rouge ganache that is then enrobed in a thick Cacao Barry Mi-Amère dark chocolate couverture shell that is garnished with dried cranberry crumbs and coarse sugar. On first bite you break through the thick dark chocolate shell to reveal a moist, light and fluffy, sweet and savory red wine ganache. After the initial red wine flavour fades the truffle finishes with a strong and bitter dark chocolate savor that lingers for several minutes.
